Soak in the greenery as we explore the biggest city park in the world. This run is both a street run and a trail run! In addition to being the site of America's Centennial celebration, did you know Fairmount Park holds what was once the largest building in the world and America’s first zoo? We explore those little known facts and hundreds more. We take you to the Famous Philly Art Museum Steps and 40 other sites within Fairmount Park, all in just over an hour! This is a true dive into nature within the Philly city limits. We tie together the unique Philly story as we run along the Schuykill River, venture through overgrown underpasses, and climb forested hills. Along the way, our story taps into common themes like freedom, reinvention, unity, green urban planning and many American Firsts.
